NRFC Quick Statistics: Fathers and the Living Arrangements of Children Under 18.

This fact sheet provides statistics from various years on the living arrangements of children by nativity of parents, parents' current labor force participation, poverty status, and age of child. Also included are statistics on the percent of children in father absent families by race, percent of children living with single parents by race/ethnicity and percent of children living with single parents by presence of cohabiting partners, family living arrangements by race, single parent family groups with own children under 18 by age of parent, and living arrangements of children by fathers' family background.
