Training Materials This interactive curriculum was developed by Parents as Teachers National Center. The 12 sections of Focus on Fathering target child development, connecting with your child, parenting apart, healthy relationships, and more. Each section contains goals, activities, discussion points, materials, and procedures and guidance for practitioners working with the families involved.

The Research Review we present here has been compiled out of the realization that, in many policy areas, failure by policy makers and practitioners to address fathers' behaviour and concerns results in less than adequate provision for mothers and children. Child Welfare Agencies' Efforts to Identify, Locate, and Involve Nonresident Fathers, which was conducted by the Urban Institute with the National Opinion Research Center at the University of Chicago.
