Journal of Social Work Values & Ethics
This study conducted focus groups with fathers from underrepresented racial/ethnic backgrounds residing in the San Francisco Bay Area in order to explore (1) the level of involvement with their children, and (2) their experiences with social workers. Unintentional bias can inadvertently affect paternal involvement and create ethical concerns in child welfare case management. (Author abstract)
