
Stacey Bouchet has over 15 years of research-based advocacy experience on multidisciplinary issues related to vulnerable families and disadvantaged, marginalized populations. She is the founder and principal consultant of Bouchet & Associates where she contracts with a variety of clients to: 1) conduct qualitative and quantitative research; 2) write products, resources, and reports; 3) develop and document causal stories, case studies, and successful practices and outcomes of clients and the populations they serve; 4) write proposals; 5) manage grants and contracts; and 6) provide training and technical assistance to professionals in the field of health and human services. In her role as Senior Writer and Product Development Specialist for the National Responsible Fatherhood Clearinghouse (NRFC), Bouchet writes, reviews/edits, and/or approves all NRFC content, including product, website, blog, and social media content. She documents NRFC events, makes program site visits, and presents on behalf of the NRFC. She also is responsible for reporting annual NRFC contract compliance, outcomes, progress, and challenges to the Office of Family Assistance. Born and raised in Baltimore City, Bouchet earned her Ph.D. in public policy from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County and her B.A. in psychology from Notre Dame of Maryland University. She is the recipient of multiple awards and honors, including being a White House Champion of Change. Bouchet comes from a disadvantaged background and, as such, brings a unique perspective and skill set to all her professional activities that are informed and enhanced by her lived experiences, participatory in nature, and passionately committed to affecting positive, measurable change for those most in need.
