James Worthy is a National Consultant, Family Advocate, Business Developer, and Trainer. He serves as the NRFC’s Co-Lead for Outreach, presenting on behalf of the NRFC on various topics related to fatherhood at approximately 15 conferences every year. Worthy also is a contributing expert author to the NRFC DadTalk Blog series. Over the past 2.5 decades, Worthy has provided or managed direct services to nearly 10,000 of Baltimore’s most disenfranchised residents and provided training to nearly 5,000 human services practitioners nationwide. He formerly led a national initiative at the Center for Urban Families (CFUF) called the Practitioners Leadership Institute and managed CFUF’s Technical Assistance portfolio. He served with CFUF from 1998 to 2013. During this time span, Worthy was the key point person for contract consulting to OFA’s Responsible Fatherhood grantees.
