The Dibble Institute

This highlight from the field is a video interview with staff and participants from The Dibble Institute, a Healthy Marriage grantee of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Office of Family Assistance. Some teens in California are building a foundation for healthy romantic relationships now, and gaining skills for lasting, positive family environments in the future. The Dibble Institute is helping students gain valuable relationship skills.

Healthy Marriage grantees help individuals and couples of all ages improve communication skills,skills; understand the components of healthy relationships, increase empathy and emotional bonding, and build conflict resolution and problem-solving skills. Through Healthy Marriage programming, intensive case management, and employment services, participants learn about the benefits of marriage and boost negotiation, financial management, stress and anger management, and parenting skills.
