Biography

Robyn Cenizal is Director of Family Strengthening with ICF. She has served as the Project Director for the National Resource Center for Healthy Marriage and Families since 2011. She developed a structured curriculum and has facilitated state-level training in all 50 states.  The curriculum educates social service providers on the long-term effects of toxic stress and adverse childhood experiences and offers strategies for mitigating these effects through integration of healthy relationship education into safety-net services.

She previously directed the TANF/Faith-based and Community Organizations Collaboration Initiative, a multi-year research to practice project, which focused on developing and strengthening public/private partnerships to build capacity of State/Tribal TANF Agencies.

In addition to 10 years of federal level work providing training and technical assistance in the family strengthening, healthy marriage and responsible fatherhood fields, she also has over 26 years of local government experience specializing in strategic public/private partnerships to mitigate community distress including broad expertise with family strengthening, child welfare, workforce development, violence prevention, offender re-entry and poverty reduction.

Recognized as a national expert, she has presented at over 75 conferences throughout the country and hosted over 30 webinars. She has authored numerous publications on promising practices associated with serving high-risk, low-resource and culturally-diverse populations. She is a nationally Certified Family Life Educator (CFLE) and Integrative Nutrition Health Coach.  Connect with Robyn on LinkedIn.
