South Carolina Center for Fathers and Families

As program officer for the Sisters of Charity Foundation, Pat was instrumental in the development and leadership of the Fatherhood Initiative when it began in 1997. She was an integral part of the formation and establishment of the South Carolina Center for Fathers and Families in 2002.  She has served in the Executive Director's role since 2005. Under her leadership, the Center has sustained the Fatherhood Initiative, expanded the model to include innovative programming in alternatives to incarceration and access to healthcare and championed governmental policy and practice change to support responsible fatherhood.  In addition to her role as President, she is an advocate for fathers and quality fatherhood program services and is often called upon to speak about the importance of father engagement and best practices in fatherhood programs.
